Core Policy

What Is a Core?

Many parts—such as injectors, pumps, turbos, and other remanufactured components—require a core charge. A core is your old part.
To receive a core refund, you must return your old part in the same condition it was removed from the engine, with all pieces included.

How the Core Charge Works:

Option 1 — Pay the Core Charge Now

  • You pay the core charge when ordering.

  • Once we receive an acceptable core, your refund is issued within 48–72 hours.

Option 2 — Send Your Core First

  • Ship your core to us before ordering by selecting: “Return Core in Advance.”

  • Your order will ship once we inspect and accept your core.

“The typical timeframe for a core to be approved is 5 to 10 days after the part is received.”

Core Condition Requirements

To receive full credit, the core must be rebuildable:
✔ Same part you purchased (like-for-like)
✔ Complete—no missing pieces
✔ Not disassembled
✔ Not damaged from fire, water, or improper removal

Cores with these issues may receive partial or no credit depending on manufacturer evaluation.

Core Return Deadline

Cores can be returned within 60 days of the original invoice date.

Cores must be returned within 60 days from the delivery date to receive full credit.

Returns after 60 days may receive partial credit at our discretion.
